In 2010 DK Orthotics & Injury Clinic was established within Base2Race which was created by athletes, for athletes bringing 7 specialists in the one location. It provides services in the areas of injury assessment, manual therapy, biomechanical analysis – static and dynamic, orthotic assessment and prescription, shock wave therapy, dry needling, and rehabilitation.
Not only do we specialise in sporting injuries, but we also specialise in assessing and treating common everyday musculoskeletal injuries, orthotics assessment and prescription.
The clinic is run by Dee O’Neill, an experienced Sports Therapist and sportswoman with first-hand experience of dealing with all common sporting injuries across various sporting platforms running, cycling, swimming, skiing & climbing. She continually upskills keeping up to date with latest changes in treatment and rehab protocols.
She treats national and amateur athletes involved in a wide range of sports. Has spent time living in the French alps – Chamonix and is no stranger to helping rehab clients from ACL/MCL knee injuries! Dee has competed at International level and now for fun runs in Ultra Distance Trail Running events around Europe the longer the better!!!
