Injury Assessment

Injury assessment is extremely useful and beneficial so the right treatment can be recommended.  By taking the client’s history, postural assessment, range of motion and special tests all help to decide what the best form or combination of treatments are required.

Most common injuries

  • Plantar fasciitis & heel spurs
  • Lower back pain and sciatica
  • Tendonitis/Tendinopathy of the achilles, patella, wrist, elbow and shoulder
  • Iliotibial band (ITB) syndrome – Lateral knee pain (Runners Knee)
  • Bursitis
  • Muscular strains and ligament sprains
  • Shoulder impingement and rotator cuff tears
  • Chondromalacia of the patella
